Contact Improv and Cuddles with Peter Petersen

If you like to do improvisational contact while you dance with a partner and you like to cuddle in puddles of people, then this event is specifically made for you!  To give you context for the evening, basically this event is a cuddle party with a few contact dance exercises at the beginning.

We will first start with some basic Qigong moves to warm up and become more present in our bodies and ground fresh energy into them. This will also help us connect both hemispheres of our brain together so we have full control of our bodies and to help with inspiration and creativity of how we move.

Then we will then move into some basic exercises on how to practice our contact improvisational skills and also how to be respectful touching and playing with one another.

Once the practice is completed we will move into a full on contact improvisational jam session and practice what we have learned. After the jam session we will decompress with an optional cuddling portion and talk a bit about what we have learned and what our experience was like.

This experience is for people looking to bring more movement into one’s life and meet new people who are also passionate about dance as well.

Love exchange for 2.5 hours Early bird tickets are only $30, normal price tickets are $35 and tickets at the door are $40.

Space is limited so buying an advance ticket is a great idea if really interested in attending this event.
